Welcome to St. Louis Chapter’s Website. We invite you to tour the pages available to you and to ask questions. If you’d like to attend a meeting, click on meeting notice at the bottom of this page. The notice for the next month is posted by the 15th of the current month. We do not meet in July or August.
If you’d like to join our chapter, click either on the application or the “join on line” button. Please contact our Membership Committee chairman for additional information and a packet will be sent you. Each board member and standing committee chair has a dedicated mail box that may be found under the STL Chapter heading at the top of the page. Our newsletter is also located in this menu.
IAAP was founded in 1942, and our chapter chartered in July 1942. We provide education and leadership opportunities at the local level. Educational programs are offered at our monthly membership meetings September through June, with the exception of December when we hold our annual holiday party and May which is our annual business meeting and open to members only. In addition, we provide one or two leadership development workshops with both professional and personal development subjects.
St. Louis Chapter supports members studying for IAAP certification examinations, and we also support the test site. Professional resources are offered to all our members through our lending library.
Another perk of membership is our job bank where members may register when looking for a position. Employers looking for qualified administrative professionals to fill openings should contact our corresponding secretary with job information at corresponding-secretary@iaap-stl.org.
Please visit the IAAP headquarters site for information on the association and the Missouri Division site for information on other chapters in our state. Links may be found at the bottom of the page.
We hope you would like to learn more about us; we’d love to learn about you.
