The Certification Programs Committee is here to promote the IAAP certification program, Certified Administrative Professional® (CAP®), recertification of the CAP rating, and any specialty certificate programs developed by the Institute for Certification.
We support examination test sites in St. Louis City/County, provide “survival kits” at the exam sites, work with candidates preparing to sit for the CAP exam or any specialty certificate, help those needing recertification assistance, and track educational degrees of our chapter members. We also prepare two recognition events each year. In October we recognize those who have earned their CAP rating or a specialty certificate, those who have recertified their CAP rating, and/or chapter members who have earned a college degree. In April we recognize those with certification achievements.
When there are enough people interested, we work on holding review classes in preparation for the CAP exam and the Organizational Management specialty certificate.
